The hand-carved console, designed to sit against a wall, showcases beautiful fine-carving across its shapely form. It features classical, period motifs, including acanthus leaves,  tressaille work and a stylised fleur-de-lys at the centre front. The piece as been finished with hand applied, textured and aged gilt work, subtly revealing layers of deep red gesso beneath. This detailing adds warmth and depth to the patination. Topping the console is a 30mm Bianco Eclipsia marble, elegantly finished with a cove edge.
