A George III, Chippendale style Mirror frame formed totally from hand carved, stylised, laurel leaves which fall around the glass in a lively manner, giving the piece a naturalistic feel.
The mirror frame has been hand gilded as per traditional methods using a gesso red undertone to warm the gold.
