A refined turn of the century bombe chest of drawers in the Louis XV style, finished in a soft blush-pink tone. The piece features a gently serpentine façade and sides, raised on elegant cabriole legs terminating in decorative sabots.
Fitted with two drawers, each adorned with finely cast gilt bronze handles and escutcheons, the commode is further enriched with ormolu mounts to the corners and apron. The shaped frieze is centred with an additional decorative mount, enhancing the overall balance and ornamentation.
The top is set with a striking rouge marble slab, beautifully veined in warm reds and ochres, providing a rich contrast to the painted body and elevating the piece’s presence.
