A characterful, Louis XV Style, Bombe Chest, circa 1940's from Italy. The piece is in its original hand-painted finish comprising of a cheerful, main-colour in yellow ocher with a second grey/green painted accent used to highlight the decorative acanthus leaf inspired, symmetrical carvings. The piece gives beautiful lines and curves with its bombe form from all angles.
