A late 19th century Venetian painted, bombe shaped chest with beveled top. The chest features finely hand painted Venetian work with depictions of stylised Rococo 's' curves, flowers and fanciful birds, all in tones of red, green and blue on a yellow ochre. The piece has three drawers, each lined in a vintage paper, patterned in green and white. The chest has a set of 6, aged, cast bronze handles.
